# Characters and Enemies

### CashCat

<figure><img src="/files/IaUMODRBBSBL8eUaPX09" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

CashCat is the current playable character. The character uses a fast auto rifle, can jump, and can scale through temporary power-ups and permanent level-up blessings

| Attribute                  | Current Value |
| -------------------------- | ------------- |
| Health                     | `100`         |
| Movement speed             | `5`           |
| Jump height                | `2.5`         |
| Default rifle fire rate    | `9` shots/sec |
| Rifle damage               | `18`          |
| Bullet speed               | `24`          |
| Max permanent spread pairs | `3`           |

### Pepe Runner

<figure><img src="/files/LHIOZGoI6dPF36TuRaxH" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Pepe Runner is the main wave enemy. Pepe enemies chase the player, deal touch damage, and scale every wave.

Pepe has runtime variants:

| Variant             | Rule                               |
| ------------------- | ---------------------------------- |
| Standard Pepe | Baseline wave enemy |
| Unsteady Pepe       | `20%` chance, moves at `68%` speed |
| Running Jumper Pepe | `10%` chance, adds jump behavior |

### Swole Dog

<figure><img src="/files/IaUMODRBBSBL8eUaPX09" alt="" width="375"><figcaption></figcaption></figure>

Swole Dog is the boss enemy. It appears every 5 waves, has a large model, a boss marker, a dedicated health bar, and guaranteed CASHCAT drops on kill.

Swole Dog is slower than a normal enemy from the same wave but hits much harder. The boss exists to force movement discipline: kite, reposition, and use spread upgrades before the arena gets too crowded.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://sherwood-smash.gitbook.io/sherwoodsmash/gameplay/characters-and-enemies.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
